This is a short post to record my decision to go with Amazon’s Marketing Sevices version of Google’s adwords. At any rate, that’s how I think about it.
Blogging is a strange activity; you’re communicating with no one in particular, throwing your thoughts out into the black hole of hyperspace. Nothing comes out. Not even an echo. Still, I write as if there’s someone out there paying attention, caring about what I think and say.
So for what it’s worth, just wanna note that I just set up a Kindle Direct Publishing Ad Campaign for my book, The Obeahman’s Dagger.
After a bit of research, I decided to go with the product link option for Dagger. (Trying to make it seem that my work can be compared to the likes of Neal Gaiman and J.K. Rowling.)
Well why not?
That was preferable to choosing a genre comparison. Magical Realism, Fantasy, would have produced too much competition. I simply couldn’t afford it.
I will post my results here, as they come in. My hope is that other writers will find my experience useful.
